Executive Team Officer Chats

To better serve the Michigan Gamma chapter and provide transparency to the members and electees, the officer corps hosted weekly officer chats. The officer chats consisted of one hour per officer team, during business hours of 9am to 5pm, that do not overlap which each other. Thus, the weekly total of officer chats are about 3 hours.

Fifth General

*This meeting is mandatory for those interested in joining Tau Beta Pi.
Celebrate the end of the semester by presenting your team’s yell and baked good, and enjoying treats made by others! A panel of judges will evaluate both and the teams with the highest scores will earn points towards winning best electee team.
Dinner will be provided - please sign up by 6:30 pm on Sunday 4/14 to ensure that you will be able to receive food. All members are invited to attend.

NROTC Group Tutoring (Apr. 15, Apr. 17)

The Navy Reserve Officers' Training Corps (NROTC) at the University of Michigan has academic standards and is looking for tutors to assist their students, with a focus on introductory Math and Physics courses:

You will report to the NROTC wardroom (CHEM 1018), located on the west side of the Chemistry building. The fastest way to find it is to use the entrance nearest to the Kinesiology building and immediately turn right. Once you arrive, check in with Collin Wys, the NROTC Academics Officer, who will make sure you get credit for tutoring.

Intel Virtual Info Session

Intel will be discussing future opportunities for co-ops, internships, and full-time roles! Intel is a major supplier of microprocessors for the majority of computer systems in the world!

The Winter 2024 Semesterly Banquet

Each semester, the outstanding members of the chapter are recognized at a dinner/awards ceremony hosted immediately following initiation. The best electees, electee teams, project leads, and more are recognized. Superlatives are exchanged, and a fun activity is given to the attendees. This friendly competition ends the night after recognizing the achievements of the chapter and its members over the past semester.
We have several MANDATORY requirements, detailed in the Official TBP MI-G Banquet Sign-up form. Admittance will not be approved without completing all the requirements, so read carefully and direct questions to tbp.banquet@umich.edu.

Order of the Engineer Ceremony

The Order of the Engineer Ceremony seeks to promote professionalism and ethics in engineering. Graduates who participate in the ceremony receive a special ring to remind them of their responsibility as an engineer. The event is available to all graduating students in the College of Engineering.
As a volunteer, you will provide assistance for setup, sign-in, food, etc.
