First actives meeting of the semester! This was an opportunity for Actives to catch up with your fellow Tau Bates and enjoy some free food! This meeting was required to achieve DA/PA status and is for Actives only.
We are happy to announce that Joy Adams from the Multidisciplinary Design Program joined us to give a talk on LinkedIn: What are recruiters looking for when they see your profile? What should you include in each section? What are the optimal settings to be "discovered"? As a former recruiter herself, Joy gives many very useful professional development talks to student organizations on campus.
The talk lasted about 40 minutes and members were encouraged to bring a laptop and have a LinkedIn account already made to fully participate.
