Four meetings held throughout the semester that are used to discuss various areas of the chapter that require discussion or improvement. Members voiced opinions on what they see for the future of MI-Gamma as well as how the chapter can start making changes now.

Intel Virtual Info Session

Intel will be discussing future opportunities for co-ops, internships, and full-time roles! Intel is a major supplier of microprocessors for the majority of computer systems in the world!
Targeted Majors: ECE, EE, CE, MechE, ChemE, Materials, Physics (any STEM major is encouraged to attend)

Initiation

All electees are required to attend initiation to be officially inducted into Tau Beta Pi. Please sign up on the website event so we have an accurate idea of how many people we have.

The Winter 2024 Semesterly Banquet

Each semester, the outstanding members of the chapter are recognized at a dinner/awards ceremony hosted immediately following initiation. The best electees, electee teams, project leads, and more are recognized. Superlatives are exchanged, and a fun activity is given to the attendees. This friendly competition ends the night after recognizing the achievements of the chapter and its members over the past semester.
We have several MANDATORY requirements, detailed in the Official TBP MI-G Banquet Sign-up form. Admittance will not be approved without completing all the requirements, so read carefully and direct questions to tbp.banquet@umich.edu.

The Semesterly Banquet will be held immediately following Winter 2024 Initiation, on Saturday, April 20th, from 5:00-8:30 PM, at Stonebridge Golf Club.

Order of the Engineer Ceremony

The Order of the Engineer Ceremony seeks to promote professionalism and ethics in engineering. Graduates who participate in the ceremony receive a special ring to remind them of their responsibility as an engineer. The event is available to all graduating students in the College of Engineering.
As a volunteer, you will provide assistance for setup, sign-in, food, etc.
When: Wed. May 1, 2024, 11 a.m.– 1 p.m.
Where: Pendleton Rm (Michigan Union)
