Undergraduate Research Symposium

Event Type: Service Hours

The URS Symposium was organized by a group of undergraduates within the College of Engineering and LSA to create an opportunity for students of all disciplines to gain experience communicating their research and exposure to other research on campus. Tau Beta Pi MI-G is supporting this event through funding for t-shirts and a student travel grant. Members of Tau Beta Pi volunteered at this event, helping it to run smoothly and efficiently. Members were responsible for the following tasks: directing presenters and judges, aiding with set-up and take down of posters, aiding in set up and organization of refreshments and lunch, and managing event flow and organization.

Project Leaders: Kelly Crumley (kcrumley) and Kevin Greenman (kpgreenm)
