Event Type: Voting Meeting Attendance

This meeting was the first official actives meeting of the semester. We elected the W21 Activities officer as the one elected at the end of F20 had to resign, making this a voting meeting. The officer corp put out announcements of upcoming events. Chair, electee team lead, and committee applications were publicized. Best interview practices were discussed in preparation for the electee interview process. A sign-in code was released by filling out a DEI survey, and a game occurred after the meeting.

The Winter 2024 Semesterly Banquet

Each semester, the outstanding members of the chapter are recognized at a dinner/awards ceremony hosted immediately following initiation. The best electees, electee teams, project leads, and more are recognized. Superlatives are exchanged, and a fun activity is given to the attendees. This friendly competition ends the night after recognizing the achievements of the chapter and its members over the past semester.
We have several MANDATORY requirements, detailed in the Official TBP MI-G Banquet Sign-up form. Admittance will not be approved without completing all the requirements, so read carefully and direct questions to tbp.banquet@umich.edu.

Order of the Engineer Ceremony

The Order of the Engineer Ceremony seeks to promote professionalism and ethics in engineering. Graduates who participate in the ceremony receive a special ring to remind them of their responsibility as an engineer. The event is available to all graduating students in the College of Engineering.
As a volunteer, you will provide assistance for setup, sign-in, food, etc.
When: Wed. May 1, 2024, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
Where: Pendleton Rm (Michigan Union)
