I’m Eric (an electee this semester) and I’m part of a non-traditional, high-energy, super cool percussion and performance group called Groove. You may have seen us around campus drumming on buckets or various other trash items. Our fall semester show is coming up and we’d adore it if you helped us fill up Michigan Theatre!

Applied Collegiate Exoskeleton Competition

Seeking Volunteers for Upcoming Exoskeleton Competition
The Applied Collegiate Exoskeleton Competition (ACE) is being hosted at the University of Michigan on May 16th and 17th, 2025. ACE is an international, cross-university, completely student-driven competition aimed at testing primarily lower-body exoskeleton suits designed and built by undergraduate university students. The purpose of this competition is to allow students to take their designs and put them to the test in real-life situations while also creating an environment of collaboration, innovation, and friendly competition. The ACE 2025 organizers are searching for volunteers to help run the competition on May 17th, 2025 and volunteers to try on and test teams’ exoskeletons. Lunch will be provided. All students and non-students are welcome to volunteer and participate!

Summer Engineering Exploration Camp Counselor

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is recruiting counselors for their annual Summer Engineering Exploration Camp, a week-long opportunity for high school students to dive into STEM-related interests. This popular camp receives around 400 applicants every season and is an incredible way to inspire the next generation of engineers.

As a counselor, you’ll spend a week living at Bursley Hall, mentoring, guiding activities, and being part of an impactful, hands-on experience for 40 future STEM leaders. Food, housing, and relocation reimbursements will be provided.
