We are thrilled to invite you to an upcoming talk by Stewart Ongchin, where he will share valuable insights on financial planning best practices. Stewart spent 25 years at Intel, working in areas ranging from manufacturing to technology development, and most recently as a technical program manager. He holds a B.S. in Material Science and Engineering from Cornell University and an M.S. and MBA from MIT. After retiring at age 46, he now enjoys helping others through financial coaching, along with pursuing various activities like cooking, mountain biking, exercise classes, and spending time with his family.
In this talk, Stewart will cover the basics of financial planning, including investment returns by asset class, compound interest, and the Rule of 72. He will also discuss different phases of the net worth life cycle and considerations for your financial planning journey. Additionally, Stewart will explain US retirement accounts and his recommended priority for using them, sharing humor and personal anecdotes about lessons learned along the way.
