The Navy Reserve Officers' Training Corps (NROTC) at the University of Michigan has academic standards and is looking for tutors to assist their students, with a focus on introductory Math and Physics courses:

PHYSICS 140/240

You will report to the NROTC wardroom (CHEM 1018), located on the west side of the Chemistry building. The fastest way to find it is to use the entrance nearest to the Kinesiology building and immediately turn right. Once you arrive, check in with Anna M. Richmond, the NROTC Academics Officer, or whoever is the designated proctor of the day, who will make sure you get credit for tutoring.

Engineering Day for Detroit

We will be inviting several middle schools from the larger Detroit area to University of Michigan for a day focused on engineering! We will spend the day with several hands-on modules and activities.
Middle schoolers from the Detroit area will be in attendance from 10AM-4PM for various engineering related activities (will share exact details with volunteers). We need volunteers to help us run the activities (similar to CSD/MBD) and other event aspects like set up and tear down.

Cub Scouts Day

The University of Michigan Engineering Webelos Engineering Day brings together scouts on campus to investigate the importance of STEM careers. Scouts spend the day working collaboratively with University of Michigan engineering students via several hands-on modules. Through conversations with students and team building activities such as the egg drop challenge, scouts can learn about engineering applications from their own first hand experiences. The University of Michigan has a long standing tradition of hosting Webelos Engineering Day to promote engineering to the next generation within a fun, interactive environment.
